[GIST]: Ogidi inwelle celebrates her annual Nwafor festival joyfully.
An Igbo village, the headquarters of Idemili North Local Government area, Anambra State, Nigeria ”Ogidi”.
Yesterday being Sunday 26th July 2020 the Ogidi community and it’s indigenes celebrates their annual Nwafor festival.
Ogidi is best known for its annual Nwafor Festival in July that takes place after cultivation of yams and included prayers for a good season.
It usually starts on the Thursday Afor market day of the month and she celebrates it on every Sunday of week it falls, as its neighbours Abatete, Ṅkpọr, Ụmụnnachị, Ụmụoji, Ogbụnike and Ụmụdiọka and other people who comes from many places.
